Join Northcote City FC – Coaching Opportunities for the 2027 Season
Northcote City FC is seeking passionate, ambitious and player-focused coaches to join our coaching team for the 2027 season.
As one of Victoria's leading football clubs, Northcote City FC has a proud history of developing players and competing at the highest levels of the game. We are committed to providing an environment where coaches are supported, challenged and empowered to grow alongside our players.
We are now inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified coaches across all areas of our football program.
Why Coach at Northcote City FC?
At Northcote City FC, you'll become part of a professional football environment that values excellence, development and collaboration. We are committed to investing in our coaches and providing opportunities to build long-term coaching careers.
As a Northcote City FC coach, you will benefit from:
* Coaching within one of Victoria's most respected football clubs.
* A strong player development pathway from MiniRoos through to senior football.
* Ongoing coach education, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
* A collaborative coaching environment with experienced technical staff.
* The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of players on and off the field.
* The potential to progress into higher coaching roles within the Club as opportunities arise.
We're looking for coaches who:
* Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
* Are passionate about developing players in line with modern coaching principles.
* Create positive, inclusive and high-performance learning environments.
* Align with the Club's values, philosophy and commitment to continuous improvement.
Selection Process
Applicants are invited to complete the Expression of Interest form and nominate the coaching positions they are interested in, in order of preference. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in an interview and selection process. Appointments will be based on the needs of the Club and each candidate's qualifications, experience, coaching philosophy and overall suitability for the role.
Coaching Qualifications
All coaches must hold, at a minimum, the Foundation of Football qualification. Depending on the role, a Football Australia C Licence or higher may be required.
A current Working With Children Check is mandatory for all coaching positions.
If you're committed to developing players, striving for excellence and being part of an ambitious football club, we'd love to hear from you.
Submit your Expression of Interest today and join Northcote City FC for the 2027 season.

We're excited to have you join our club and can't wait to see your little ones join our Little Hercs family.
The Little Hercs Program is all about giving boys and girls aged 4-8 a fun, positive introduction to football. We aim to spark a lifelong passion for the game by creating an environment where kids can enjoy themselves while learning essential skills. Through engaging games, your child will develop the basics of ball control, passing, shooting, dribbling, and more-all at their own pace in a friendly, non-competitive setting.
There's no better way to introduce our youngest footballers to the beautiful game than by participating in this program on the pitch at John Cain
